Focus on speaking life today... With the words that you speak and the tone you speak with. 
Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 
Let your speech always be seasoned with grace.

As we start this year, it's a good time to seek more efficient ways of doing things. To be more efficient is to be more effective. 
Sometimes it's good to be lazy and look for a better more efficient way of doing things. 
I always think of the old story of a town that needs water. And two guy took different approaches for bringing water to the town. 
The first guy grabbed his buckets and ran down to the river, while the second guy made plans to build a pipeline to the town.
One approach was way more efficient and a greater blessing to the town. 
In today's communion meditation we are asking God to help us be more efficient in everything we do.
