This week on The About Her Podcast, I chat with Jenna DiPrima and Lydia Schaible about cultivating a regular habit of reading. Jenna and Lydia are cohosts of the All Things Bright And Beautiful Podcast, a podcast that seeks to encourage believers to love God with their heart, soul, and mind. Jenna and Lydia desire is to equip and encourage women to read widely, to think deeply, and to engage in conversations that matter.
Jenna DiPrima is a graduate of Clemson University where she received a degree in English Literature. She went on to get a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jenna has worked in administrative, discipleship and communications positions for several churches and for a church planting network. She is a member of Emmanuel Church of Winston-Salem where her husband is a pastor. She is passionate about equipping women to learn how to think theologically, study God’s Word, show hospitality, and disciple younger women.
Lydia Schaible is married to Burk, and together they have four children. Lydia is originally from the Pacific Northwest, and graduated from George Fox University with a Bachelors of Arts in Biblical Studies and a minor in Philosophy. She previously worked in a variety of non-profit organizations addressing the needs of at-risk children, women facing unplanned pregnancies, and refugees. She is eager to encourage others toward biblical literacy, and to normalize hospitality and edifying friendships within the local church. She also currently lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and is a member of Emmanuel Church.
I discovered All Things Bright And Beautiful shortly after their podcast launch earlier this year. I was so encouraged to find another podcast with female hosts who love God, love His Word, and love chatting about how we ought to apply God’s word in our daily lives.
