Today we get to hear from the extraordinary Alixe Hatch. Alixe and her husband Preston have been in our ward for 16 years. They have 4 kids and one grandson who was just born last month to her daughter Riley who many of us know. And just for a fun piece of trivia Riley’s baby was 11 lbs! Alixe works part time as an office manager for a local chiropractic office and is currently serving as an advisor for the 16-18 year old Young Women Class.
I hope you enjoy her interview conducted by Nikki Steers where she shares how her testimony has grown line upon line through experiences with mental illness in her family, having her childhood dreams restructured after a major knee injury, and being pushed out of her comfort zone with things like ministering and serving as a seminary teacher.
