In the parable of the shepherd, he leaves the 99 to find the one lost sheep and rejoices when he finds it.  Are we searching for the missing sheep like that shepherd, with an urgency that comes from knowing how valuable that one sheep is?  Or are we searching for only what benefits us and have become numb to the needs around us?  Perhaps we once had a heart to serve and seek the lost but were hurt and disappointed in the process.  Don't let the pain of your past get you stuck.  Or do you think that you have everything figured out and you're content with where you're at spiritually?  Don't let entitlement keep you from the things God has for you.  Continue to search alongside Jesus and experience the thrill of finding what was once lost because "there's more joy in heaven over one sinner's rescued life than over ninety-nine good people in no need of rescue."  Join us as we begin The Search series and Pastor Jules speaks on searching for what is missing.
