This week Jason Fishman speaks with Sam Blan , Co-Founder and CMO of System 9. Sam walks us through how he was able to Test, Optimize, and Scale his businesses. Sam is a hands-on leader with a unique vision and a seasoned track record in corporate and international positions. A tech native executive and a problem solver experienced in startups of all kinds. Nuanced agility, tempered judgment, and entrepreneurial talents are some of his hallmarks. Skilled at making quick decisions and the unwavering determination of follow through. He started his career in the film space identifying new business/acquisitions in entertainment/film/content for several years including working for a production company located at Universal Studios. Much of his work has been in an international capacity: sourcing/acquiring creative and innovative properties in tech and entertainment, working on contracts/negotiations and in physical production. His entrepreneurial spirit has led him to work in several other fields from 2015-2018 including: tech, hardware, nonprofit, fundraising and fashion. He's worked on crowdfunding campaigns and projects in the rewards, equity and non-profit space. He entered the embryonic blockchain / crypto industry in 2016. First as an investor of innovative projects, growing holdings across several protocols and tokens. In Q4 of 2017, he co-founded System 9, a digital software and market making firm building trading algorithms for FinTech, blockchain and the overall cryptocurrency marketplace.
