Natasha Ellington is a 38-year-old Kansas City, MO native, Owner/Executive Chef of Cafe Jo’el Restaurant Group.
As the owner of Cafe Jo’el, Natasha dutifully collaborates with multiple nonprofit organizations in the inner city by donating her skilled services to mentoring black and brown youth and by teaching food wellness and culinary skills.
Natasha is also the conceptual contributing partner for UpLiftHer LLC - a company dedicated to the mental and spiritual empowerment of all women and femmes intersectionally.
Finally, Natasha is Co-Owner of Lovely Little Lyric LLC- a book series that purposely directs its content to inspire and encourage positive representation of black and brown children.
Natasha is the Director of Nutrition and Culinary Arts for Giving Yourself Real Love. She uses her skill level to enhance awareness about dietary and nutritional values in the urban core by teaching basic cooking to children.
Natasha is Mental Health First aid certified and trained in breath work and uses her knowledge to advocate for the mental health of black women.
With all of her talents and attributes, Natasha’s highest esteem is being a mother to three beautiful children and wife to her loving husband.
