We got a chance to talk to Ashley Sodergren from Make-A-Wish and find out how they impact the lives of children with critical illnesses by granting a wish for them. Ashley represents our area and she told us currently their are five children in Tehachapi that are waiting to have a wish granted. We talk about the positive impact a wish has on the child and family and she says research shows this can help in their recovery. We talk about different ways we as a community can help by both volunteer opportunities and financial.
