I’m Fred Fishkin.     The Indy Autonomous Challenge is coming to the Grand Prix of Monterey this summer to jump start the event…and will feature international teams competing with autonomous vehicles.   CEO Paul Mitchell..“We are going to have a time trial competition …so it will be …the winning team will be the team that is able to navigate the circuit with the fastest time.  And probably by next year, if we go back, we will have some head to head racing with multiple cars.  It takes place on the 24th of July and as you suggested, is sort of a kick off for the Grand Prix of Monterey weekend with the NTT Indy Car Series.”Mitchell says the autonomous racing can  provide valuable data in adapting the technology for real world every day use.  Learn more at IndyAutonomousChallenge.com.You can find us at Techstination.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
