Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.  I’m Fred Fishkin.   Using your phone as a tool for smart binoculars.  That’s what a company called Parle Innovation has done with eyeVue immersive smart binoculars.  They look like more like a VR type of set up…that your phone slides into…and a touch pad on top is used to zoom in and out and then take pictures or video.  Co-founder and CEO Mary Shulenberger says the idea is to help you stay in the moment and get a closer view at youth sports games or out in nature…
“People hold their phones out at arms length and they miss what they are seeing. With the eyeVue, we knew this would be a really big and good opportunity to design something that kind of solves that problem.”
