Amazon has launched what it calls the AWS Impact Accelerator…with thirty million dollars for startups led by a variety of underrepresented founders. The early stage startups will receive up to 225 thousand dollars in cash and credits and will have access to the same technology as the world’s largest enterprises. LaDavia Drane is Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Amazon Web Services…
“These start-ups, these founders do need to be U.S. based, but they can be U.S. based anywhere in the country. And so now …you don’t have to be in a big city necessarily. You can be in a small town, a rural town, an urban core and you have access to this program.”
