We are so used to the concept of cash and the anonymity it offers during every transaction that its impossible to think of something that can replace it one day. As more and more of our transactions are shifting online, its imperative that sooner or later we will come with a digital form of cash. Crypto currencies and other products offer some form of digital cash but there is something else on which many countries are working on. Its called the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).
