Barry's guest in this episode is Daniel Mayhew. Daniel is the Director of Information Technology for Business Affairs Shared Services, a division of Business Affairs Technology Services. He began his career at the University of Arizona in 2006 at the CatCard office as an electronic field services technician tasked with maintaining and repairing the chip readers across campus. After taking advantage of learning opportunities provided by the University of Arizona, Daniel joined the Financial Services IT team as desktop support. Soon after, he moved to the Systems and Infrastructure team, eventually leading the Systems and Application Development teams, and finally taking over the direction of the entire department and spearheading the transformation from Financial Services IT to Business Affairs Shared Services IT. Daniel's focus is now on assisting Business Affairs units with their cloud adoption journey as part of the institution's centralization initiative.
