It has been a while since we posted a podcast episode, but we're back! We give you a brief summary on what has been going on behind the scenes, then we go into the main event! On July 6th, 2024, I, Jose, recruited a few friends, some familiar to this podcast and one new guest, to participate on a round table with me. We all went to Orlando, Florida, on July 3rd through 7th, to attend the convention of the National Federation of the Blind, a blindness advocacy organization. We did not attend the political portion, but we did spend most of our time in the exhibit hall, where many companies that make blindness assistive technology showcase their products. If we were not in the exhibit hall, then we would attend sessions of said technology vendors, highlighting some of their product features. On this bonus episode, we discuss some of the best technology, in our opinion, that we got to se there. We hope you enjoy this round table episode of Teachavision! thank you all for listening!
