What makes God good? God is the definition of Good. He in and of Himself is everything that is good, and without Him there is nothing that is good. All too often, we find ourselves saying that God is good because He did or gave us something that we wated. He does give generously, but that isn't what makes Him good. The reality is that God in all of His character is holy and without blemish. Shane's story reminds us that tasting His goodness is being able to experience different aspects of God's character. Shane felt God's unconditional love at a young age, and then experienced God's dominant presence throughout high-school as he would accept challenges that God would ask him to step into.
