Holding many roles including Sports Director for WODU Studios, Sports Editor for Mace & Crown magazine, and Reporter for ODU ESports, Benjamin Draper comes on the show to speak about his love for sports, his internship with the Norfolk Admirals professional hockey team, his own podcast, alongside what devotion and personal wellbeing means to him.


Brandon K. Hedgepeth is a podcaster and graduate student majoring in lifespan and digital communication. He has been curating online content since May 2016.


Benjamin Draper is a junior who majors in Communications, more specifically ‘Media Studies’ along with a minor in Sports Management. Since he was 4 years old, Benjamin has wanted to pursue a career in sports media as a Broadcaster/Reporter. On the side, he does broadcasting/production for the ODU Esports program and is Sports Director for WODU Studios. Alongside that, Benjamin is the Sports Editor for the Mace & Crown magazine. Benjamin will begin his internship with the Norfolk Admirals professional Hockey club for the 2023-2024 season. After college, Benjamin hopes to land an opportunity in a sports media role at the professional level whether its a major media outlet or professional sports franchise.
