Welcome back to another episode of Talks To-Go! Jill and George talk with our next special guest father/daughter duo, Torre Blake and Jeff Blake. Torre is an R&B and Pop artist, singer-songwriter, former competitive gymnast and D1 athlete. After releasing her first EP and honing her craft through live performances, Torre’s career took a giant leap when she landed a spot on The Voice, showcasing her talent on one of the world’s biggest stages. She considers her music therapy for herself and her listeners. Jeff is a retired NFL quarterback renowned for his impressive arm strength and deep-ball accuracy. An All-American at East Carolina University, Blake was drafted by the New York Jets, quarterbacked six seasons for the Cincinnati Bengals and also played for the New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens, Arizona Cardinals, Philadelphia Eagles, and Chicago Bears during his illustrious 14-year career. He remains active in football, coaching and mentoring aspiring athletes.
