Author of "My Mama is a Superhero!", a story inspired by a bedtime conversation between Lindsey and her daughter. They were discussing her day at school when her daughter, Ella, recounted a pre-school classmate had asked her about Lindsey's wheelchair. Ella explained that she expressed to her friend that Lindsey's disability in her eyes was not a limitation but a super power and how unique her mom's wheelchair is. It was at that moment that Lindsey knew she needed to use her experience and inspiration along with her passion for writing to help educate other children and offer Ella's unique perspective. Lindsey hopes that her story will allow readers to open up to the possibility of embracing individual differences to gain greater acceptance and understanding.
