It's the summer recess for Parliament in the UK, but that doesn't mean the fun stops here at Talking Pollocks. Even though the house is not sitting, there is plenty of ongoing events for us to discuss! With MANY countries now issuing travel advice to their citizens who maybe travelling to the UK, we discuss the ongoing riots across the UK which were sparked by the horrific deaths of 3 young girls and then a deluge of misinformation spreading online! Who is responsible for these riots and the misinformation that has caused it? It's not a simple topic and we do not tar everyone with the same brush! It is important to say that these rioters do not represent everyone in the UK and it was a heart warming moment when the Anti-Racism protests showed that we are better than this!!
