In this week’s episode of Talking in the Dark Evie speaks with gold medal winning javelin thrower Dan Pembroke MBE During this lovely conversation Evie learns about Dan’s life with Retinitis Pigmentosa and how an early diagnosis of this degenerative visual impairment at the age of 8 years old spurred him forwards to achieve the great things that he has.  Dan also describes his journey into athletics, shares about his experience winning gold at Tokyo in 2020, and describes the joy and inspiration he has taken from traveling the world.  This was a hugely life affirming conversation and we thank Dan for his time and energy.
