Listen "Class"
Episode Synopsis
This episode features conversations on class, economic capital, and economic inequality. These conversations can often be looked over in academic feminist spaces, and it’s really important to have them, as class privilege weighs very heavily on whether or not marginalized folks can have a voice. In this episode’s panel, hosted by Ann-Bernice, Sarah Graham and Sumbal Sabah both share stories of feeling the pressure that class carries with it from very different backgrounds. Also included in this episode is poetry by Maita Cienska and a spotlight on Our Place Society.Content in this program was produced by CFUV’s Podcasting Production Team. Our theme music is composed by Arcade Pallot. This program is proudly supported by Cold Comfort Ice Cream and the Community Radio Fund of Canada.References and Resources:http://www.stopdisplacement.ca/https://www.ourplacesociety.com/http://www.tapsbc.ca/https://retailaction.ca/http://bridgesforwomen.ca/https://coolaid.org/ http://www.greatervichousing.org/https://socialistaction.org/2018/03/08/16964/https://everydayfeminism.com/tag/class/
