I sat down and spoke to Pharmacist and Travel Blogger, Dr Nabila Ismail about how she first fell in love with travelling and why she wants to make that a part of her life going forward in her professional career.Growing up in the United States of America, Nabila talked to me about her first experience of travelling abroad. Before starting university, she spent time as an Au pair in Spain which she feels was one of her most significant transformative travel moments. Nabila went and trained as a Pharmacist, having studied through school and university. She also started her blog, Dose of Travel, and talks to me about her solo travels and, most recently, what it’s like to travel as a South Asian. With Pakistani roots, this was something that she said she didn't discuss much in her blogs, but she talked to me about why that is important going forward. We spoke about some of her other memorable travel experiences and plans for future aspirations. It was great to connect with Nabila, and I look forward to seeing what she gets up to next.
