Led by parents Rob (an ex-Olympic rower) and Rachel (a twice gold medal winner at the World Triathlon Championships) Hamill, The Cruising Kiwis, along with their three boys, Finn, Declan, and Ivan, have an unusual and poignant story, which really sets them apart from other families who have broken free of the rat race to sail around the world.Back in the mid-1970s, Rob's eldest brother, Kerry, set off in his 28-foot sailing boat to sail from Australia up to SE Asia.
