It is the most wonderful time of the year, but not for everyone. The American Psychological Association (APA) notes that there is an approximately 38 percent increase for short-term depression in people between the ages of 15-44 during this time of year. In our text, we see it is clear that this prophet of God (Elijah) is depressed (yes, even God's people can become depressed). Note how God deals with Elijah regarding his depression.
