Listen "Ep 23: Looping 101"
Episode Synopsis
You have probably heard about DIY “looping” for insulin dosing decisions, but how exactly does it work? It can be difficult to know where to start if you're interested in building your own "artificial pancreas". Certain equipment is required, you need to build an app, learn to use a new system and ultimately fine tune your insulin settings. Although it sounds complicated, it's really not! Looping has increased in popularity over the years and there are thousands of T1Ds using the system. In this Huddle, we’ll be speaking with three individuals who will share the ins-and-outs of looping with you!
This Huddle will be led by Logan McLean, featuring guests Lee Anne White and Jennifer Miller, all of whom are well-versed with looping. They will share their own experiences and challenges with this system, as well as tips and strategies to ensure you are able to loop safely. You will learn all about how the system works and what you need to get yourself started.
