A Different Drum was an integral part of the synthpop resurgence from 1993 to 2014 when they closed their doors. So many amazing bands were part of the label. Discovering the label when I returned from living in Italy changed everything for me and pushed me back into the synth-heavy genres of my teenage years. There are enough artists that I have to do this in three parts on three different weeks. This is Part One!
