Angie Philips from the Nebraska Study Group joins us again to give an update on the anti-trans bills (LB574 and LB575) and the anti-abortion bill (LB626). We discuss two voter suppression bills, LB228 and LB230, coming up this week in the legislative session, and a bill (LB675) that would limit the harm additional voter ID requirements would have on the state’s elections. We also chat about Christian Nationalism and how it has found its way into the Unicameral, and you will hear what some senators have to say about this topic. Finally, we spoke about LB811 relating to the Student Discipline Act and providing for the use of physical contact or physical restraint.
