Welcome back to the Sutta Meditation Series Podcast.
This is part of a 20-part session on How to meditate on the Vatthupama Sutta (MN7) - the Buddha's Discourse on the Simile of the Cloth. It was conducted on 29 December 2020 for families, adults, and children.

This episode takes a deep dive into Envy (issā), one of the 16 mental stains from the Vatthupama Sutta. We learn about how to meditate to abandon this mental stain or defilement with a gentle guided meditation.
In the complete 20-part session we:
- study the words of the Buddha in the Vatthupama Sutta;
- discuss some of the benefits of learning this meditation;
- 'deep dive' into the 16 mental stains;
- meditate on each of the 16 mental stains (guidance provided) to directly experience the fruits of this teaching; and
- look into the Buddha's teachings on what to expect from bad actions
