Homily given on the 18th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year C) at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Clarendon, VA on Sunday, August 4, 2019 (9:00 am Children's Mass).
Mass Readings were as follows:

Ecclesiastes 1:2; 2:21-23 -- "Vanity of vanities! All things are vanity!"
Psalm 90 -- "If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts."
Colossians 3:1-5; 9-11 -- "Seek what is above."
Luke 12:13-21 -- "Take care to guard against all greed, for though one may be rich, one's life does not consist of possessions."
