Separately and together, Tortoise have been a cornerstone in the Chicago music scene for more than three decades and helped to early on define the (sometimes contentious) genre of post-rock. Their first new album as a group in almost ten years, Touch, is soon to be released on International Anthem records. They are this week's spotlight artist.
