A surfboard shaper since 1967, Greg Loehr worked for Dick Catri, Natural Art, Ocean Avenue, and Fox. He began making boards out of styrofoam blanks and epoxy resin in 1981, and helped create a stronger, and lighter alternative to the standard polyurethane foam/polyester resin board.
