In this episode we speak with Jakob Muus, the Director Sustainability Tribe at Transporeon. Throughout his career he has been on a journey to drive the transportation industry's transformation towards greater efficiency and ecological sustainability. His experience in this journey helped him found and create the start-up Tracks, which applies AI-based analytics and prediction tools to reduce fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions in the road freight industry. Tracks was acquired by The Transporeon Group in late 2022 and became the sustainability tribe. Transporeon powers the largest global freight network of +1,300 industrial shippers, +100 large retailers and +145,000 carriers and logistics service providers. We discussed the great work Jakob has been doing to help companies achieve their 2030/2050 sustainability goals to become carbon neutral and carbon negative - where we are, where we need to get to, and how we will get there.
