During #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, we are joined by Captain Tim Davies, who shares his experience having lost his eldest son, George to suicide in 2020, and his elder brother Peter, 25 years ago.
He shares how through the experience of devastating grief, he has made it his mission through his Sail2Help programme to raise awareness of mental health and help reduce the incidence of suicide.
By financially supporting PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide, the UK’s main suicide prevention charity for young people and funding “Sailing Escape Days” for those bereaved families, he is making a difference to many lives, and needs support to help others avoid the heart ache.
