The movie is based on the 1974 case of a woman who claimed – among other ghostly goings-on - to have been repeatedly, spectrally violated by invisible entities. Her ordeal was also observed and recorded by doctoral students at the University of California in Los Angeles.

This is the true story of Doris Bither, a young, single mother of four who battled unseen forces that physically assaulted her and her children in a small house in Culver City, California during the mid 1970s.
