One of the great auteurs of this generation is back with his latest work in the form of a new adaptation of the most classic of all creature stories. Del toro and Frankenstein truly is a match made in heaven and now via Netflix we finally get to see his take on Mary Shelley’s classic. Perhaps not the most ‘horror’ of films by modern standards but arguably it’s horror comes from a realer place and it is certainly an emotional watch.
