Tel Aviv-based duo PETEL — made up of Kobi and Ehud — make their debut on ELIF’s
Marginalia with Be, while Marginalia staple Althoff returns, this time on remix duties. The EP
showcases the pair’s unique synergy: Kobi’s precision in production and Ehud’s deep musicality
combine to create a sound that’s both vulnerable and expansive.

The opening track Be channels a powerful message of identity and presence. Haunting vocals
swirl around analogue warmth, as hypnotic synths and fluid grooves evolve with patience and
purpose. It’s a track that invites surrender — both in the body and in the moment.

Stepping up for the remix is Brazilian talent Althoff (Katermukke, Bar 25, Borders of Light), who
has released regularly with Marginalia. Known for his textured, organic approach to melodic
techno and supported by names like Solomun and Adriatique, Althoff reimagines Be with tribal
percussion, layered tension, and sweeping melodic phrasing — turning the original’s intimacy
into a peak-time ritual.

The EP closes with No Fear, a darker, late-night roller with tightly wound rhythms and deep,
immersive energy. Synth lines pulse beneath subtle vocal samples, building toward a moment of
restrained release.

With Be EP, Marginalia continues its journey of releasing music that fuses feeling and function
— a home for artists unafraid to dig deeper.
