This Sunday at Wildwood UMC, we reflected on the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38–42. As Jesus visited their home, Martha became distracted by all she felt needed to be done, while Mary chose to sit and listen at Jesus' feet. We were reminded that in a world full of noise, tasks, and expectations, God invites us to pause, be present, and listen. Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is stop doing—and start being.This week, ask yourself: Where am I being invited to slow down and sit with Jesus?
