Please enjoy the parts of the message that we did get.*Perhaps you’ve seen the shirt with the words, “Sunday Funday” printed on the front. Maybe you’ve even worn one. But what is Sunday really for? For some it’s a time to rest, a “second Saturday” to catch up on projects or a day to get ready for the work week. Others see it as a day to spend quality time with family. For many it’s a day to set aside to head to church for a time of encouragement and renewal but after that hour, we go on with our day which typically includes a big screen tv and your favorite chair. But what is it really about and how can we begin to leverage that “Sunday Funday” as a Sabbath Day of rest and an opportunity to deepen our connection with God and others? Don’t sleep in :)
