Listen "Success to Significance featuring Leska Blevins Papas"
Episode Synopsis
This show kicks off our Reunion Series for the Class of 1974, Sherman, Texas. A special thanks to our featured Sherman Bearcat, Leska Blevins Papas. Hear the deep roots between the Blevins-Hart-Tocquigny family dating back to 1936 when Leska's grandmother rented her garage apartment to George Tocquigny, a freshman at Austin College. During this show, Leska recalls her fondest memories of Sherman, playing outside after dark, scary first days at Piner Jr. High and at high school. Hear about Mrs. Banzer, Pop Shelton, variety shows, football games, going to church and growing up in an age of innocence. We invite other classmates to record their memories.
