Episode Synopsis
This Monday on “Success In The Evening With Coach Ricky Terry” Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Gina Robinson will join Success Coach Ricky Terry to discuss the topic of mental illness.
For many people, the holiday season is not the “most wonderful time of the year.” Instead feelings of sadness, financial stress, isolation/loneliness, unrealistic expectations leave many people longing for the end of the holiday season.
According to a survey in 2014, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) reports that approximately 24% of people with a diagnosed mental illness find that the holidays make their condition “a lot” worse and 40% “somewhat” worse.”
