Mackenzie is a paediatric speech-language pathologist who specialises in the birth to five-year old population. Her journey to becoming a children's book author was a fated one! As her oldest child, Vaughan, began stuttering, Mackenzie and her husband knew they wanted a way to talk to him about his stutter that felt informative, celebratory and also engaging. The dream of Daniel the Digger and the Talking Town Crew grew from there - and the rest is history!
