Taylor Wright a loan officer with SecurityNational Mortgage Company joins us! Taylor is a local Utah resident and started at the age of 22 as a loan officer while studying at UVU. He gives his expertise and advice on efficiently running through the home loan process when purchasing a new home.

“I think people get really scared of walking into a bank and being sold on a house.” Taylor takes the educational approach with his clients and can teach them what to expect as a homeowner, and he suggests looking for a local expert that knows the area well when securing a home loan.

“Many people get caught up in a pipeline process and I like to step back and take time to teach them about the loan. Although this takes more time for the loan officer, I feel like you can create a smoother process, not just for the client, but for the entire transaction.” When the customer understands the costs and next steps, the process is less scary and more fluid.
