While scoring music for blockbusters like “Pirates of The Caribbean,” “Dunkirk,” and “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” Michael Levine, fueled by his passion for storytelling, tried his hand at screenwriting. In 2020, he wrote and produced a low-budget short film that won 20 awards worldwide and received glowing reviews from many of his cinematic heroes. On a whim, he sent the film to one of these heroes, and to his surprise, received an unexpected response.
