Lizzie Eastham and Sam Rickard present Studio 1 - Vision Australia Radio’s weekly look at life from a low vision and blind point of view. On this week’s show Phillip Deveraux In the lead-up to the Paralympics in August, we look at the various sports that Athletes with a Vision Impairment complete in or play. This week it is Athletics. Sam talks to two-time (Seoul and Barcelona) Paralympian Phillip Deveraux. Phil talks about how he lost his sight; his recovery; why he took up Athletics and a lot more. We also learn that Sam is an old man with a bad hip, and Lizzie has a weak stomach. Studio 1 welcomes any input from our listeners.
