Listen "13. Training to Win"

Episode Synopsis

Whatever is worth doing is worth doing right- and you have to train your mindset, body, and skillset to meet your goals in business and parenting. Training to win. Do you go into a new job or experience with an attitude of “I can’t do that”? Training your body, mind and skillset is essential for achieving success. By having a well-conditioned body, you can be physically prepared to take on any task. I trained all throughout my pregnancy, even when I didn’t feel like it, because I knew my labor and postpartum experience would thank me for it. I read books about parenting so I can manage my 7 kids and all of their different quirks and personalities. If I didn’t have strategies in place, I would be pulling my hair out (even more than I already am!). I listen to business and marketing podcasts so I can be the best leader for my team and support new business owners taking the leap into entrepreneurship. When you sharpen your mental acuity, you are able to think quickly and clearly when making important decisions as a business professional or parent. Skillset-wise, you can build upon your current abilities so that you can better handle situations that come with each unique challenge.Developing these traits will give you a competitive edge and help you stay ahead of the curve when striving to reach your goals, AND just help you live an overall more happy life. Remember, whatever is worth doing is worth doing right. So stop half-assing your way through life! Thank you for supporting my small business.
