About Joseph Cacciapaglia:Joseph Cacciapaglia is a real estate agent and the team leader of the Investment Team at PMI Birdy Properties. Joe helps clients find and purchase residential investment properties in San Antonio, TX. These properties include vacant infill lots, short-term rentals, and small multifamily properties (2-25+ units). The Investment Team works closely with PMI Birdy Properties’ property management and vacation rental management teams to ensure their clients are purchasing assets that are expected to perform well in the long run.Joe also invests in real estate personally. He started by house hacking a duplex in 2005, and has invested in single family homes, land, and multifamily up to 10 units. He is currently converting his portfolio into private mortgage notes by selling his properties with owner financing. Joe’s currently buying vacant land to flip with owner financing.Joe has a Master’s of Land Economics and Real Estate from Texas A&M University and a J.D. From Rutgers School of Law. He has worked in real estate since 2005 with a very wide range of experience in real estate including time as an attorney, acquisition and asset management analyst, agent, property manager, commercial mortgage broker, commercial mortgage servicer, appraiser, consultant, and investor. He’s worked with apartments, office, retail, self-storage, hotels, industrial, land, and residential properties.
