First, Alison and Timothy present some old newspaper stories featuring monsters: a strange thing in the Cumberland mountains which spit some kind of toxic red fluid; the dinosaur-like Gowrow from Arkansas; and a winged entity which attacked policemen and citizens alike in the Bronx. Then, Timothy talks with Magnus about hypnopompic illusions and other strangeness from the realms of sleep and dreams.
