Kim Witczak is a globally recognized drug safety advocate who became active after the sudden death of her husband from undisclosed side effects of an antidepressant. With 25+ years in advertising and marketing, she brings a unique lens to FDA reform, transparency, and patient safety. Kim co-founded the non-profit Woodymatters and served three terms as the Consumer Representative on the FDA’s Psychopharmacologic Drug Advisory Committee. She also co-organized the international Selling Sickness: People Before Profits conference and serves on multiple patient advocacy boards including USA Patient Network, Inner Compass, Conscious Clinician Collective, and MISSD (Medication Induced Suicide).
