Andy Walmsley told us his story about the night of the flood and how it affected the community and his relationship to rain. He’s a commercial artist and filmmaker living in Churchtown who made a film about the floods as part of the flood action scheme’s campaign to raise money to construct the defence. Churchtown is a village in Lancashire which was flooded from river overflow twice in the space of 8 months in 2015 and 2016.
