Arizona native, Kara Seratte carries an independent spirit and strong obedience in following all the BIG plans God has for her life. While studying communications and earning her master's degree in leadership at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix she felt Him asking her to pursue joining the United States Air Force. While Kara labeled this calling to be rather "random", she did not shy away from it. Instead she stepped forward and began the process of becoming an officer for the U.S. military. To date, she has been serving as active duty service-member for a little over a year and is training to be a navigator in the aviation field. In this episode of Still With You Kara shares her story in how God has been at work in her life during her military experience. We also discuss the topics of mentorship and her background in dance, two things that are very close to her heart. Clearly, she has an array of unique gifts that go beyond her USAF uniform! Our conversation was so much fun, anytime I am around this beautiful friend I feel refueled to love people and live more like Jesus.
