In this episode, I talk about what Coaching is NOT -- specifically that it is NOT therapy! This topic was based on a post in one of my Facebook groups in which someone was asking for a trauma coach, and received a TON of responses on their services, and very few responses actually asking what the Trauma was to see if they were even right for the job. I was almost one of them, and I had to take a step back because my ethics as a social-worker-in-training (MSW student) wouldn't allow me to essentially prey on this person asking for help without assessment of their needs.  Not all the sheep are sheep, folks. Some are wolves in sheep's wool and will try and prey on the vulnerable, potentially causing more harm than good in the long run.
